Humanising the treatment process and clinical communication between patient and medical staff before and during the COVID-19 pandemic

16 March 2022

The aim of the Project is to define the profile of humanisation (including clinical communication) in medical institutions in Poland.

A description of the relationship between the patient and the medical and non-medical staff, as well as intra-group between the staff of a given facility, will be made using the 360 method. The survey and subsequent analysis will be conducted for five groups:

  1. doctors,
  2. nurses,
  3. paramedics,
  4. other medical and non-medical staff
  5. patients (including patients participating in clinical trials).

The project will include a time perspective - 'before' and 'during the COVID-19 pandemic'.

The project is planned to be implemented in approximately one hundred independently operating healthcare providers.
