They are the ones who are 'at the bedside' of the patient, constantly subjected to evaluation - patients, families, doctors. They arouse extreme emotions - from adoration to disregard to aggression. Young and old, educated and learned, enthusiastic and bitter. Underpaid. Overworked.
They have stopped being silent. They talk about themselves, about difficult working conditions, about sick relationships with superiors, about mutual conflicts.
