The analysis of the issues of medical ethics and related dilemmas is particularly important nowadays, as Poland is undergoing huge economic and social changes, also in the field of health care. Knowledge of the principles of ethics can help in decision-making in various difficult situations in the work of a clinician. This paper discusses what the author considers to be the most relevant issues for neurologists contained in the code of medical ethics.
