(doctor-patient relationship)
The study included 100 doctors and 373 clinical patients. The aim of the survey was to assess medical communication from the perspective of clinical doctors and their patients. The mean score for patients' satisfaction with communication with their doctors on an 11-point scale was 6.79 and the median was 8.0. Women aged 30-40 years had the most objections.
A dissonance was found between patients' and doctors' statements in receiving medical information from the attending physician. 38.8% patients were left with doubts after
visit despite all doctors claiming to convey information in a clear and precise manner.
