The monograph focuses on the importance of the spiritual dimension for a positive therapeutic process. It aims to make members of the medical staff involved in organising and providing patient care aware of the importance of spiritual care. The monograph includes a theoretical section introducing the issue of spirituality, a section with the different dimensions of spiritual care of the patient, interviews with authorities from different religious backgrounds and a practical section with guidelines for formulating questions.
