Medical Ethics Education: An Interdisciplinary and Social Theoretical

There is a diversity of 'ethical practices' in medicine as an institutionalised profession, as well as a need for ethical professionals both in practice and in institutionalised positions. This study provides a social perspective on medical ethics education. It discusses a number of concepts related to educational theory and thus provides a basic presentation of the topic. In addition, recent research in the sociology of medical education and social theory is included.
