The analysis is conducted in accordance with the principle of equal rights of churches and other religious associations (Article 25(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland of 2 April 1997). The author presents legal guarantees of the patient's right to pastoral care and discusses the right of churches and other religious associations to provide pastoral care to patients during hospitalisation.
