Dr. Feleszko and the educational series "At the Signal"

"At the Signal" is a series of books familiarising children with various illnesses - diarrhoea, colds and cuts. Dr Wojciech Feleszko explains what happens in the body when we are sick in a way that is interesting and accessible to children, telling the story of a family from Milanowek. Dr Wojciech Feleszko is an immunologist by avocation, a researcher into immunity in children and small rodents, and a paediatrician by profession. He is the author of dozens of research papers on this subject, published in prestigious international medical journals. He received the Polish Prime Minister's Award for his doctoral thesis. He works on a daily basis with sick children at the University Hospital at Działdowska Street in Warsaw.
