"VIRTUAL HEALTH ADVISOR", DIETARY SUPPLEMENT, ADVERTISING AND AUDIENCE - THE LANGUAGE OF ONLINE HEALTH PROMOTION PORTALS

This paper focuses on the language of health promotion portals, including the language of advertisements related to health-promoting products that are posted on selected online portals. The communicative aspect of the discussion, i.e. the perspective of the virtual health advisor and the viewer, organises the discussion. The analysis follows the paradigm of a popular science apparatus with a limited amount of specialised terminology, making it comprehensible to any reader.
