Act on Patients' Rights and Patients' Ombudsman

The commentary is a comprehensive study containing an analysis of the provisions of the Act on Patients' Rights and Patients' Ombudsman, as well as of other legal acts in the field of medical law, thanks to which the complexity and dynamism of the subject matter under discussion is shown.

In the latest edition of the current state of the law and judicial decisions have been taken into account, especially the Supreme Court, which have been of great importance to the healthcare sector over the years.

The commentary discusses, among other things:

  • the issue of information of the patient and his/her beneficiaries and of consent to health services, including the problem of obtaining consent for health services provided by health professionals other than doctors,
