MEDICAL, ETHICAL AND LEGAL ASPECTS OF CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTION IN MEDICAL PRACTICE

Another position under the auspices of the Bioethics Committee of the Medical Chamber of Bydgoszcz, edited by Prof. Władysław Sinkiewicz and Rev. Dr. Rafał Grabowski, is an important voice in the discussion on conscientious objection in medical practice. The problem most often concerns doctors, but it turns out that nurses and midwives also have the possibility of expressing conscientious objection (guaranteed by law), pharmacists want to have such a choice (guaranteed by law), and a complete novelty is the raising of this problem with regard to laboratory diagnosticians.
